Pick up Your Event Pack
Collection is on the 3rd / 4th November at selected Fitness First clubs and GO Sport stores. To remember the location you chose to pick up your Electric Run stuff from Log in to https://myevents.active.com/using the email address you used to register to find your chosen location and time.
To pick up your event pack (and those of your friends) you will need a photo ID and signed waivers from those for whom you are collecting. Waivers can be downloaded here
EVENT NIGHT
Transport and Parking
If possible, plan to carpool with your gang to the event. Electric Runners should access Meydan from Al Meydan Road off Al Khail Road. All the parking will be signposted at the venue with traffic marshals showing you where to park. For more parking information head here.
Festival Area
Each Electric Run event revolves around Festival Area — the hub of your Electric Run experience. This is where you will start and end the night. When you get to the event proceed directly to Festival Area where you can get the night started. Dance to the DJ, grab a bite to eat and a drink, get your face painted, check out the Electric Run Store and Sponsor booths providing giveaways and interactive displays, and of course get your selfie on!
Don’t forget to #ELECTRICDxB!!! Please be aware that no alcohol or sharp objects will be allowed into the venue and that there will be bag checks upon entry.
Start Chute Dance Party
All runners will be invited to fill the chute about 15 minutes before the event starts. The 5k will start at 6.30pm – miss it, miss out! While in the chute, dance to the tunes and get hyped to get into the world that is Electric Run. An MC will be there to get you warmed up and ready to experience the Brightest 5k on Earth!
Lit 5k Course
Since no two venues or communities are the same, every Electric Run course is tailored to the location and crowd hosting us that night. Depending on where you attend an Electric Run event, you will witness between five and seven themed courselands which consist of light and music, and extend between 500 and 2000 feet. As you run through the darkness between each zone, you can anticipate elements such as ethereal jellyfish, and dancing rainbows.
Electrifying Finish Line Celebration
You’ll finish your journey back where you started, at the Festival Area. After the run we turn up the music and celebrate your return with an epic dance party. Now is the time to let your inner Beyoncé shine. Show your moves, flaunt your stuff, and let those runner’s endorphins give you a high to carry you through the night!
